We have recently developed a system that makes it easier for us as a training school and indoor range to accommodate your training needs. There are three (3) modules that must be satisfied prior to the issuance of the 18 Hour (16 hour Classroom + 2 hour Range) completion certificate.
Module 1: consists of 8.5 classroom hours.
Module 2: consists of 6.5 classroom hours.
Module 3: consists of 1 classroom hour and 2 Range hours.
Module 3 takes place in our state of the art On-Site Indoor Range. This module includes the written test and Live Fire qualification requirements that are part of your permanent training record and subject to inspection by the Licensing Officer and/or NY State Police for 5 years.
*****Note: You may attend any module in any sequence and they may be completed out of order to accommodate your schedule.

Classroom: Modules 1 & 2
- Firearm Safety Course
A minimum of sixteen (16) hours of in-person live curriculum that meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in New York State Penal Law § 400.00(19) and the “Minimum Standards For New York State Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training” issued on August 23, 2022, as amended or updated from time to time, including a written proficiency test to the above-listed applicant that evaluates his/her/their understanding of the requirements set forth in New York State Penal Law § 400.00(19) and the “Minimum Standards For New York State Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training” issued on August 23, 2022, as amended or updated from time to time.

NOTE: Though the New York State Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training and instructors are spelled out in the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) law each county is handling things differently. Not all instructors or training is the same quality. As our online reviews show, we bring our courses to the next level of excellence!
The Above Modules fulfill the requirement under the new Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) for the New York State Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Training and collectively provide the 18-hours of required training in order for any NY county to accept and process your application for a “have and carry concealed” pistol license a.k.a. concealed carry license.

As of Sept 1st 2022, NYC, Westchester, Suffolk & Nassau Counties are requiring the full 18-hour NYS Course, though some have been slow to implement the new law. You will need to take ALL 3 of the Modules listed in order to apply for a concealed carry pistol permit/license in your county. You will need to pass our written test and shooting qualification in order to receive your official 18-hour certificate. Prior students who attended and completed our Florida/Utah Class within the past Five years can Take The Modified Module 1B. You must present your certificate upon arrival at the Module 1B Modified class to earn credit for past training. There are no exceptions and we do not accept any other entity, organizations or Instructors certificates or training. Even John Wick….
